Three U.S. Air Force soldiers working for a bomb disposal team in Baghdad were killed and another injured in a car bomb attack on Sunday, the U.S. military said in a statement.

Earlier, the military announced deaths of two soldiers in separate incidents, one from the Multinational Division in Baghdad and the other assigned to 1st Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group in Iraq's western Anbar province.

More than 3,010 U.S. soldiers have been killed in Iraq since the U.S.-led invasion in March 2003, according to media count.
