A Japanese commercial ship has collided with a U.S. nuclear-powered submarine in the Arabian Sea, injuring no one, Kyodo News reported on Tuesday.
The Japanese Foreign Ministry received the report early in the morning, a government source was quoted as saying.
The Japanese ship is a tanker operated by Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha Ltd., and the submarine may be under the command of the U.S. Navy headquarters in Bahrain, Kyodo said.
