Polish President Lech Kaczynski held a telephone talk with U.S. President George W. Bush on Wednesday, which centered on the Middle East.
The talk was held on the initiative of President Bush and focusing on questions of the Middle East policies and the two countries' joint involvement in Iraq, the Poland's Presidential Chancellery Press Office stressed in a press release sent to the PAP news agency.
"The presidents also exchanged opinions on recent actions undertaken by the stabilization mission in Iraq. The common aim of Poland and the United States is security of Iraq and its citizens and assistance in reconstruction of the state," the communique said.
