Chinese premier back home from regional summit

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao returned to Beijing from the Philippines on Tuesday after attending a series of meetings there.

The meetings included the 10th ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) plus Three (China, Japan and the Republic of Korea) summit, the 10th China-ASEAN summit, and the 2nd East Asian regional summit in Cebu City

Wen also chaired the 7th annual meeting of leaders of China, Japan and the ROK.

After the series of meetings, Wen paid an official visit to the Philippines at the invitation of Philippine President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
