Two Palestinian teens were shot and wounded in northern Gaza Strip Saturday by Israeli troops' gunfire, Palestinian medics and security sources reported.
The security sources said that Israeli soldiers stationed in an area close to the borders between northern Gaza Strip and Israel, where the Israelis opened fire and hit two Palestinians who approached the area, both of them are aged 16.
Medics at Gaza Hospital said that the two teens were hit by gunshots in their legs, adding that they were in moderate condition.
Meanwhile, Palestinian security sources and Israel Radio reported Saturday that the Israeli army had detained three Palestinian young men who infiltrated from Gaza into the Israeli territory.
An Israeli Army spokesman told Israel Radio that the three were arrested in an area close to the borders between Gaza Strip and Israel, adding that they had been taken for investigation.
Palestinian security sources said that the three were not armed, and they were intending to go to Israel to look for work.
Gaza Strip had been under Israeli security closure for about one year. Thousands of Palestinians used to work in Israel and the Palestinians had been deprived of the chance to work there since the closure was imposed on the Gaza Strip.
