Colombian team to play Uruguay in friendlyThe new Colombian national football team coach Jorge Luis Pinto announced Tuesday the rosters for a friendly against Uruguay on Feb. 7 in Cucuta, a border city near to Venezuela. This is the first time for Pinto to choose his players after being nominated as technical team coach last December replacing Reinaldo Rueda. The list, announced during a press briefing, includes 28 players, all of which play in the American continent. The team will start training on Jan. 29 in Medellin and will travel to Cucuta on Feb. 5. Pinto also announced his technical team. Meanwhile, Oscar Washington Tabarez, Uruguay's technical coach, announced a list of 19 players for the friendly. According to Tabarez the team will be completed in the next few days with some other players from Montevideo teams. The return match will be played on April 4, 2007 in Montevideo. Source: Xinhua |
