Putin begins his fourth visit to IndiaRussian President Vladimir Putin arrived in New Delhi Thursday noon for his fourth visit to India in a bid to boost the strategic ties between Russia and India. During his two-day visit, President Putin is expected to meet Indian President Abdul Kalam, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Chairperson Sonia Gandhi. After the talks between Putin and Singh, the two countries are expected to sign at least eight agreements, including that on military cooperation and in fields like nuclear power, energy and space.
