Police detain local cleric after rocket attack in northwest PakistanPakistani police have detained administrator of a local seminary in northwestern Pakistani town of Bannu after rocket attacks in the town, a district police chief told the Geo News channel on Wednesday. Talking to Geo News, District Police Officer (DPO) of Bannu Mazhar-ul-Haq said that it would be premature to attach arrest of the cleric with rocket attacks that occurred days ago in the area. On Jan. 29, two rockets fired by unidentified attackers landed near a mosque in Bannu, a city in Pakistan's North West Frontier Province, leaving 15 people wounded. The DPO said that the administrator of a local religious school Hafiz Sattar has been detained after visits of some foreigners and other suspects in the Madrassah and he is being questioned in this regard.
