Bangladesh under-23 soccer team will take on South Korean Ulsan Hyundai Mipo Dockyard in a friendly match in Dhaka Friday, Bangladeshi news agency UNB reported Thursday.

The friendly match against Ulshan Hyundai is viewed by sports organizers as very important for Bangladesh ahead of the ensuing home and away basis match against the Hong Kong team beginning Feb. 7 in Dhaka.

The visiting South Korean team also takes the friendly match against Bangladesh as part of their preparation for the domestic K. League that will begin in April.

The South Korean side earlier played two friendly matches against Indonesia. After playing in Bangladesh on Friday, they will go to China for more exhibition matches.
