font size

French Foreign Minister Philippe Douste-Blazy on Thursday called on Iran "not to isolate itself and to suspend the sensitive nuclear activities."

"We call on, more than ever, the Iranians not to isolate themselves and to suspend the sensitive nuclear activities," said Douste-Blazy.

"As long as Iran does not accept to suspend the sensitive nuclear activities, then we, we continue our step with the sanctions of the Security Council," said Douste-Blazy, reaffirming France's official position on Iran.

He expressed regret about Iran's refusal to suspend its uranium enrichment activities.
