U.S. top nuclear negotiator to visit Seoul in preparation for six-party talks
font size

Christopher Hill, the U.S. chief negotiator for the six-party talks, will visit Seoul on Saturday to fine-tune a strategy for the upcoming six-party talks, local media reported on Friday.

According to South Korea's Yonhap News Agency, Hill, who is also the assistant secretary of State, is scheduled to meet with his counterpart Chun Young-woo and other South Korean officials before he flies to Tokyo on Monday.

Hill said earlier in Washington that the parties concerned will not achieve full denuclearization, but they hope to get a substantial start during the upcoming six-party talks set to open on next Thursday in Beijing.
