Fresh Hamas-Fatah clashes on Friday in northern Gaza Strip have killed 13 Palestinians, including a Fatah intelligence leader, with another 170 wounded, the pan-Arab al- Jazeera TV channel reported.

Clashes between Fatah and Hamas have turned into a deadly bloodshed in the recent week. The previous five-day bloody bout of factional fighting, which started from last Thursday, had killed at least 33 Palestinians and wounded over 120 others.

A fragile ceasefire was reached between Hamas and the Abbas-led Fatah movement on Tuesday morning.

But the truce was seriously violated after four Palestinians were killed and 30 wounded in central Gaza Strip on Thursday afternoon in renewed clashes between Hamas militants and security forces loyal to President Mahmoud Abbas.

Meanwhile, a high-ranking Egyptian security delegation is in the Palestinian territories, trying to arrange talks between Hamas and Fatah leaders to maintain the ceasefire agreement that reached on Teswday.
