Three more U.S. soldiers killed in Iraq

Three U.S. soldiers were killed on Friday in separate incidents in the volatile western Iraq province of Anbar, the U.S. military said.

A marine and a sailor, assigned to Multi-National Force - West died on Friday from wounds sustained due to "enemy action" while operating in the province, the military said in a statement.

Another marine assigned to the same unit also died on Friday from "non-hostile causes", while operating in the same province, said the statement.

Earlier on Friday, the U.S. military also announced deaths of three U.S. soldiers in two separate vehicle accidents on Thursday.

Since the Iraq War broke out in March 2003, more than 3,090 U.S. soldiers have been killed in Iraq, according to media count based on Pentagon figures.
