Iran's nuclear issue should be solved by dialogue: Moroccan FM

Iranian nuclear issue could be dealt with through dialogue under the framework of the United Nations, Moroccan Foreign Minister Mohamed Benaissa said on Monday.

All the issues should be solved through dialogues and negotiations, said Benaissa in a press release together with his Iranian counterpart Manouchehr Mottaki who arrived in the capital of Rabat on Sunday night for a two-day visit.

Benaissa also said that Morocco encouraged Iran to "go first in settling the nuclear issues through dialogue and negotiation in order to preserve peace and stability in the Golf region."

Mottaki insisted the "peaceful use" of his country's nuclear program, saying that their "positions concerning the nuclear arms are clear" and their "nuclear activities are completely transparent and submitted to the supervision of International Atomic Energy Agency."

"We seek for discussions with all the parties concerning to this issue, among which are the European countries, Russia and China," added Mottaki.
