Qassam rocket lands in Israel, damages building
font size

A Qassam rocket fired by the Palestinian militants from the Gaza Strip landed inside an Israeli community on Tuesday afternoon, causing damage to a building.

A spokeswoman for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) told Xinhua that the rocket struck a building inside Niram, a community in Israel's western Negev area, but causing no injuries.

By far, a total of four rockets have been launched by the Palestinian militants in Gaza, according to the spokeswoman.

Among the other three rockets, the spokeswoman said that one landed in an area to the north of the Gaza Strip, and the rest two apparently landed inside Gaza.
