Traditional ad market attracts more money
font size

A report recently published by CTR Market Research shows that a total of 287.5 billion yuan was invested in China's traditional advertisement market in 2006, up 18 percent from 2005.

About 76 percent of advertising spending was directed into TV ads, and 16 percent to newspaper advertising.

The report indicates that investment in new media is concentrated on computers, OA-related products, real estate and home appliances. In 2006, new media became more popular and was one of the important changes of the year.
