Pakistan wins five bronze in Fajr Karate tournament

Pakistan has won five bronze medals in the Fajr Cup International Karate Tournament held from Feb. 22-23 at Arak of Iran, the state-run Associated Press of Pakistan reported Saturday.

Accordingly, five Pakistani players won the bronze medals for the separate categories, namely Shamas uz Zaman (80+ Kg), Ainu ud Din (80- Kg), Nasir Khan (65- Kg), Shaukat Ali (60- Kg) and Muhammad Ramzan (open weight category).

The two-day karate competition had drawn teams from Kuwait, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Pakistan and Iran.
