Kuwait announced on Monday that 12 new bird flu cases have been detected, the official KUNA news agency reported.
The new cases were three turkeys and nine hens raised in backyard cages.
The two sites where the dead birds were spotted have been disinfected and the dead birds were disposed of in line with international standards, and all surviving poultry would also be disposed of.
Blood samples from humans who were in contact with the infected birds have been examined and the results were negative.
On Sunday, 20 samples taken from birds, mostly falcons, had been spotted as bird flu.
