Mubarak leaves for Riyadh for talks with King Abdullah on regional developmentsEgyptian President Hosni Mubarak left here for Riyadh on Tuesday afternoon for talks with Saudi King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz on the latest developments in the Middle East region, the official MENA news agency reported. During a few hours' visit, Mubarak is expected to discuss with King Abdullah the latest Arab developments, especially the Palestinian situation after Mecca agreement between the two rival mainstream movements of Hamas and Fatah. The two leaders will also talk about the situation in Iraq and Lebanon, MENA said. Mubarak's visit to Saudi Arabia comes as part of his continued consultations and coordination with King Abdullah on regional and international developments ahead of a coming Arab summit due to be held in Saudi Arabia in late March.
