The bosses of Buenos Aires soccer club Boca Juniors will demand the return of three Copa Libertadores points on offer in the match against Bolivia's Bolivar, because three players were sent wrongly included, Argentine television said on Friday.
Zackary Flores, Doile Vaca and Diego Issa who have contracts with The Strongest, played for Bolivar in the match that they drew, and were not fielded for the Bolivian team's earlier match against Mexico's Toluca, which Toluca won 2-1.
Jorge Pacheco, president of The Strongest, says his club has the rights to the players.
"We have been making a legitimate complaint since January about the contracts of the three players," he said.
The South American Football Federation had rejected the complaint because the Bolivian Soccer Federation has said that they are taking part in Bolivar games legitimately. Boca's renewed claim will be backed by the Argentine Football Federation.
