font size

Some 7 million Vietnamese children show signs of psychological disorders such as being fed up with studies, playing truant, disobeying orders of superiors and acting counter to social norms, local newspaper New Hanoi reported Monday.

The number of local children suffering from autism, depression, anxiety and nervous tension tends to rise, the newspaper quoted Vietnam's Committee for Population, Family and Children as saying.

Children facing the highest risk of developing psychology disorder include those having HIV/AIDS, suffering from sexual harassment, and becoming addicted to drugs, and street kids.
