A bus-truck collision accident in Egypt's Sinai Peninsula killed two Egyptians and slightly injured eight Polish tourists on Friday, MENA news agency reported.
The mishap occurred when the truck ran into the opposite lane of the road and collided with the tour bus, which carried some Polish tourists from popular Red Sea resort Sharm el-Sheikh to the Egyptian capital Cairo.
The truck driver's assistant Wael Mahmoud Abdel-Latif and tour guide Moustafa Abdel-Azim died in the accident, said MENA. The wounded tourists left hospital after receiving treatment.
Egypt reports about 6,000 deaths and some 35,000 injuries in road accidents every year.
