United States President George W. Bush arrived on Friday in Montevideo, the capital of Uruguay, from Brazil, to continue his tour of Latin America which will also take him to Colombia, Guatemala and Mexico.
Bush arrived at 9:30 p.m. local time aboard Air Force Once and went directly to the Radisson Victoria Plaza hotel in Central Montevideo, where he will stay in his 36-hour visit.
He was accompanied by his wife, Laura Bush, and U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, and was greeted at airport by Reinaldo Gargano, Uruguay's foreign minister.
