Vietnamese defense minister visits Laos, Cambodia

Vietnamese Defense Minister Phung Quang Thanh left Monday morning for official visits to Laos and Cambodia, Vietnam News Agency reported.

Thanh, also member of the Political Bureau under the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee, is to visit the two neighbor countries from March 12-19.

His trips are made at the invitation of his Lao and Cambodian counterparts who are also deputy prime ministers.
