font size

Vietnam and Laos have concluded the demarcation of their 2,000-km land border, local newspaper Vietnam News reported Monday.

The final stretch of frontier, around the intersection of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia, was finalized during talks between Vietnamese Deputy Foreign Minister Vu Dung and his Lao counterpart Phongsavath Boupha, completing the demarcation which lasts for almost 30 years.

During the meetings in Lao's capital Vientiane last week, the two sides also discussed issues on border control.
