Thailand's livestock officials on Monday confirmed the fourth bird flu outbreak this year in its northeastern province of Mukdahan, local media reported.
The fresh bird flu outbreak was discovered two weeks ago in domestic chickens raised on a farm in Mukdahan, Thai news network The Nation said.
The results of the laboratory test confirmed Sunday that it is the H5N1 virus, livestock department official said.
All chicken, turkey and ducks raised on the same farm were culled together with 70 eggs.
