font size

The 2007 Blue Book on Chinese Cities' Competitiveness, published by the Chinese Academy of Social Science, reports that being labeled 'livable' enables a city to attract better people and companies as well as create more opportunities and wealth for the city as a whole. According to statistics, Shenzhen, Beijing and Xiamen are the three most livable cities in China.

Experts say that Shenzhen, Beijing and Xiamen are unique in their own ways. Beijing is a big, historic city as well as the national capital, and has long been considered a very livable place. Some of the indexes in which Beijing scored highly are the shopping environment, entertainment environment, degree of natural beauty, local culture and education facilities.

The advantages of Shenzhen, a newly developed migrant city, are its living environment, travel environment, education environment and entertainment environment
