The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) has warned on Monday of a new violence if a security plan, presented by interior minister, failed.
"The failure to implement the plan will bring us back to the security anarchy and disorder that have exhausted the Palestinian people," said Kayed al-Ghoul of the PFLP's politburo.
Al-Ghoul also called for neutralizing the security agencies in order to give success to the plan.
Clashes between forces loyal to President Mahmoud Abbas of Fatah and Hamas militias left hundreds of Palestinians dead.
The new coalition government, headed by Hamas, convened yesterday to discuss the 100-day plan which is hoped to end increasing scenes of disorder.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Ismail Haneya of Hamas met with Mohammed Dahlan, a senior Fatah leader and a close aide to Abbas, to discuss measures to unite the security services under one body.
The Hamas-Fatah agreement in Mecca,Saudi Arabia, on Feb. 8, called for forming a council for national security to supervise the work of security agencies that are loyal to Abbas and the Hamas-run ministry of interior.
