Statistics from the General Administration of Customs reveal that in the first quarter of this year, bilateral trade between China and its main trading partners has grown rapidly. The EU, the US and Japan are still China's three largest trading partners.
The value of China's first-quarter trade with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) came to US$43.11 billion, up 24.8 percent. ASEAN is China's fourth largest trading partner; India is China's tenth largest trading partner. Sino-Indian bilateral trade was valued at US$8.22 billion, up 58.5 percent. This trade relationship is the fastest growing of China's top 10 trade partnerships.
