French soccer legend Zinedine Zidane is expected to visit Indonesia in July this year as a special guest in local football tournament for children in a promo tour of a company.

Zidane's visit was part of a promo tour representing food manufacturer Danone, which now holds the annual children competition from 40 countries, including Indonesia, said Didi Nugrahadi, an executive with Danone Indonesia.

The Indonesian local qualifying is attended by teams from eight provinces and the final round is scheduled for May 12 to 13, he was quoted by the national Antara news agency as saying.
