Thai Prime Minister Surayud Chulanont arrived in Beijing Monday afternoon to begin a two-day visit to China.

This is Surayud's first visit to China since being appointed Prime Minister in October 2006.

While in China, Surayud Chulanont is to visit a temple and some Olympic Games facilities in Beijing and tour Kunming, capital of southwest China's Yunnan Province.

The Thai delegation includes the Ministers of Defense, Commerce, Science and Education, as well as the vice Minister of Foreign Affairs.
