Two U.S. soldiers have been killed in a bomb attack and another died of non-combat incident in Iraq, the U.S. military said on Thursday.
The two soldiers were killed in a roadside bomb explosion while conducting foot-patrol in central Iraq on Wednesday, a statement said, without specifying the location of the incident.
A third soldier died in a non-battle related incident in Baghdad on Tuesday, the military said in a brief statement.
So far, about 120 U.S. soldiers have been killed in Iraq in May, which makes it the highest toll in one month in 2007.
About 3,470 U.S. soldiers have been killed in the war-torn country since the outbreak of U.S.-led invasion to Iraq in 2003, according to media reports based on Pentagon figures.
