China to put out four new standards on Internet security
font size

China will launch four new standards for network identification and authorization.

China has set up an identification and authorization team under the China Information Security Standardization Technical Committee (CISTC) to promote identification and authentication technology, and circulated the seven state standards throughout relevant fields. Four new standards will be launched this year, and several standards are still being developed.

At present, there is not a high level for protection of China's network and information system, and the capacity for handling emergencies and managing information security is low. Du Lian, director of the Sub-council of Information Security of the China Information Industry Association said on May 30th, that "promoting network identification technology can effectively protect the security of information of the state, individuals and enterprises."
