Two soldiers were killed in a roadside bomb attack near their patrol during operations in the northern Nineveh province, the military said in a statement. Another soldier was killed and two others injured in a roadside bomb attack in western Baghdad, the military said. A fourth soldier was killed with small arms fire while patrolling south of Baghdad area, a separate statement said. One soldier was killed and four more wounded when a roadside bomb hit their vehicle in Diyala province, northeast of the capital, the military said. A sixth soldier died of wounds sustained from a roadside bomb explosion near their vehicle while conducting operations in the volatile Diyala province, another statement said. Two more soldiers were also wounded in the attack, it added.
