Thirty-three unidentified bodies found in Baghdad
font size

Iraqi police found 33 bodies in execution-style in different neighborhoods of the capital Baghdad Tuesday, an Interior Ministry source said.

"Our patrols collected 33 bodies during the past 24 hours in different neighborhoods of Baghdad," the source told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.

The bodies were handcuffed, blindfolded and showing signs of torture with bullet holes in different parts of their bodies, he said.

The daily gruesome finding of unidentified corpses continued in the capital despite more than three months into U.S. and Iraqi security offensive designed to curtail sectarian violence.
