China opposes U.S.'s interference in internal affairs

China Thursday expressed strong discontent with and opposition to the act and wording of the United States on Chinese criminal Rebiya Kadeer.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Jiang Yu made the remarks in Beijing on Thursday at a regular press conference.

Commenting on the report that the U.S. President George W. Bush has met with Rebiya Kadeer recently, Jiang said Rebiya Kadeer actually is a criminal.

"The U.S. relevant act and wording wantonly interfere in China's internal affairs, and China is strongly discontented with and opposed to it," She said.
