font size

A reception was held in the Chinese capital Wednesday to celebrate the 35th anniversary of establishment of China-Guyana diplomatic relations.

Addressing the occasion, Li Jianping, vice president of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, said the China-Guyana ties have developed smoothly in the past 35 years.

The friendly cooperation will bear more fruits in the future with joint efforts, he said.

Gu Xiulian, vice-chairwoman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, or the top legislature, attended the reception.
