Wuling Mountain under the Autumn Veil

Forests covering Wuling Mountain are painted red and gold as autumn sets in. Some 130 kilometers from Beijing, Wuling Mountain is located in Hebei Province and serves as a natural barrier protecting the Chinese capital from bad weather.

The peaks of Wuling Mountain are enveloped in thin layers of white clouds as shown in this photo taken in the first week of September.

Wuling Mountain is also a popular tourist destination due to its close proximity to Beijing, Tianjin and major cities in Hebei Province.
