It's Autumn across China. And fiery red leaves are blanketing the country's mountains. But in the A Ba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefectures of southwest Sichuan province, the scene is already accompanied by the year's first snowfall.
The Miyaluo scenic area is famous for its autumn scenery. And the snow-dusted mountains only add to the scene. It's hard not to imagine being in a painting just looking at the scene. And at 36,00 meters above sea level, the air is quite fresh.
A visitor said, "It's my first time coming here. The scenery is good. Nature has been preserved well here. I think the autumn here is full of poetic scenes."
But the Miyaluo senic area holds more than natural splendor. The nearby ethnic villages provide delights of their own. Each autumn when the villages fill up with tourists, locals perform dances and prepare feasts for the guests. Now how can you pass that up?
