The snow-turned artistic world of Sun Island in Harbin

The festival has attracted artists from China, Russia and a number of other countries that hope to showcase their snow sculpture works inside the Sun Island scenic area.

The Sun Island scenic area of Harbin, capital of northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, was turned into a massive exhibition ground for snow sculptures as the city's Ice and Snow Festival opened on January 5, 2013. The festival has attracted artists from China, Russia and a number of other countries that hope to showcase their snow sculpture works inside the Sun Island scenic area.
