The Amazon of the East? Tropical paradise in Xishuangbanna, Yunnan

Described as "the Amazon of the East," Wangtianshu Tropical Rain Forest Park is located in Xishuangbanna, the southernmost prefecture of Yunnan Province.

With a large expanse of lush green vegetation and the Nanla River that runs through it, the rain forest park is a valuable botanical study base. The park is also a hot destination for tourists who are interested in a rainforest safari. This latest group of photos was taken by CRI reporters traveling in Yunnan.
