The second generating unit of Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant, the largest nuclear power cooperative project between China and Russia, reached full power on July 11th. The No.2 generating unit has entered into its full power adjustment phase.

The No. 2 generating unit produces 1.05 million kilowatts of electricity. China's Nuclear Security Administration recently completed a safety test on the second generating unit for full power. Soon after this test, it will be officially ready for commercial operation.

The Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant, located in Jiangsu Province, is a nuclear power station with the largest single-unit capacity in China. The No.1 generating unit began commercial operation in May of last year.
