Type in telephone, plate number or even e-mail address, and jumps out from a digital map address of a company one wants. A project featuring a digital, panoramic map of Beijing was launched at the Great Hall of the People on the morning of July 28, according to Beijing Evening News.
A digitalized map of Beijing will be first constructed via GPS, said technicians from Beijing Internet Wintop Company, which displays precise positions of communities, streets and buildings. Images taken on the spot will help create real scenes on the map. Individuals and corporations can log on and register their digital plates.
