Judo powerhouse Japan dominated the events at the Universiade on Wednesday by adding two more golds to the tally.

Udaka Nae won the women's 57kg category and Otsuka Masahiko claimed title in men's 73kg class.

Japan has had five judo golds in hand after three days' competitions.

Udaka, runner-up in this year's Judo World Cup, beat Chinese judoka Han Guizhong in the semi-final. The latter failed to get a medal after losing the bronze contest to Kim Mee Hwa of South Korea.

Besides the bronze, South Korean players also got two silver medals on Wednesday.

Han's teammate Shi Rongrong also lost the match for bronze medal to Russian judoka Batradz Kaytmazov.

The other two golds went to Mongolian judoka Bundmaa Munkhbaatar in women's 52kg class and Ramil Gasimov of Azerbaijan in men's 62kg division.
