United Nations Under Secretary General for Political Affairs B. Lynn Pascoe Saturday afternoon arrived in Kathmandu.
On arriving at Tribhuwan international Airport in capital Kathmandu, Pascoe told reporters that he would discuss the peace process with Nepali national leaders.
According to sources, Pascoe will meet with Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala and other key political leaders including leaders of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) (CPN-M).
Pascoe is scheduled to consult with the UN Mission in Nepal ( UNMIN), which is providing critical assistance to the holding of Constituent Assembly elections in November this year, and may also visit CPN-M camps which is under UN monitoring.
