As the outsourcing destination with cost advantages that has gradually reached the top of global service outsourcing, China has the potential to exceed India to become the outsourcing destination that is most valued by global enterprises, said the Indian IT industry delegation in Wuxi on March 15.
The transfer of global services outsourcing has been rapidly developing in recent years. There is gruelling competition between outsourcing destination countries; and India "occupies" 44 percent of shares in the global outsourcing market. Mr. Rajdeep Sahrawat, vice-president of the National Association of Software & Service Companies (NASSCOM), said that China's outsourcing industry is nearly 10 years behind India's. However, in recent years, the country's IT services outsourcing industry has been expanding at a rate of 34 percent. China is expected to "concentrate" India's development trajectory to become the outsourcing destination that is valued by global enterprises especially European and US enterprises.
