Hong Kong's latest quarterly unemployment rate was 3.3 percent, which is the lowest since January 1998, according to the data published on March 18 by the Census and Statistics Department of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the People's Republic of China.
The data shows that from December 2007 to February 2008, the unemployment rate was 3.3 percent, falling 0.1 percentage points from 3.4 percent from November 2007 to January 2008.
Unemployment dropped from 113,400 people from November 2007 to January 2008, to 112,000 people from December 2007 to February 2008.
