In recent years, Shanghai's intellectual property (IP) rights cases, especially IP rights cases related to foreigners, have been on the rise. In order to provide the necessary advisory services and specialized assistance to the IP rights obligee and other parties, the Shanghai Intellectual Property Assistance Center formally opened on March 27.
This is a another big move to enhance the power of intellectual property rights protection and perfect the IP rights public service system, said Chen Zhixing, director of the Shanghai Intellectual Property Administration.
The Shanghai Intellectual Property Assistance Center will provide two forms of assistance: general advisory services and specialized assistance.
