On the morning of April 1, Lufthansa flight LH780, flying from Frankfurt, Germany, arrived in the Nanjing Lukou International Airport, in Jiangsu Province. This was the beginning of non-stop, direct flights between Nanjing and Europe. In the future, five direct flights will fly between Nanjing and Europe every week.
According to the flight schedule, Lufthansa flight LH781 leaves Nanjing at 9:05 am on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, every week; and arrives at Frankfurt, with a local time of 14:50 pm, on the same day. LH780 flights, going in the opposite direction, leave Frankfurt at 14:30 pm every Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; and arrive at Nanjing, with a local Beijing time of 7:10 am, the next morning. The airbus A-340 aircraft, with a seating capacity of 247 seats, is being used for these flights.
