The media center for the seventh Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) opened in Beijing on October 21.
The media center, located at the Beijing International Hotel, provides 24-hour professional and personalized service for the Chinese and foreign correspondents who come to cover the summit.
The Press Center accommodates function areas, including the registration and reception area, the reporter working area, the offices of press releases, media working offices and advisory area. It also provides services of public signals, public image and satellite transmission.
So far more than 1,700 correspondents from home and abroad had registered to cover the summit
